Training will be imparted to the weavers, especially the women, in the basics of textile and apparel design. They will be active participants in this revolution; they will be the facilitators in the process of value addition, that is stitching and apparel design, which is presently being done by outside agencies.

IETS is committed to enhancing the quality and delivery of education. Being both comprehensive and interactive, the English Relay Program (ERP) is specially designed to cater to the rural masses.
The major source of revenue for the Chanderi Weavers’ ICT Resource Center (CWICTRC) would be generated through the sale of its products, which would be displayed in the in house store, which would function as an exclusive outlet. Products for sale will include both apparels (saris, suits, scarves and stoles) and utility items (cushion covers, table covers and curtains).
Following the institution of an exclusive in – house store, a supply chain will be created and the weavers’ will be able to supply products directly to showrooms across the country. Partners in this initiative include:
